Balloon Museum London

Before my eldest son went back to school after Christmas, we decided to take a trip to the balloon museum. First things first, the tickets are pricey, we managed to find a 50% off code which made it £30 for one adult and one child, but without this code I’m not entirely sure its worth the money. With standard pricing one two adults and two children (over 3) would be £105 on the weekends or half term (yikes!)

That aside the balloon museum is SO MUCH FUN! This immersive exhibition is supposed to get you thinking about your emotions and feelings. Each area has a different mood and some parts of the exhibition are for “looking at” while others are for diving in, literally.

I won’t make this blog full of spoilers, as part of the fun was seeing what was around each corner of the exhibition. Some of the highlights for me included; the giant ball pit, aptly named Hyperfeeling (FYI time is limited in this area so don’t expect to be able to spend your entire day in there), The Ginjos, this felt like a rave and my son didn’t want to leave and Black Hole Horizon, because who doesn’t love a bubble machine.

My son asked to go back the next day (though that might have been because they sell candfloss portions bigger than his head) so it was certainly a winner for him.

The exhibition takes around 90 minutes to walk through and would be suitable for younger ones too (Under 3’s are free and strollers are permitted).
