Salad, steak, chips and a famous sauce. What’s not to like? Unless salad, steak chips and a famous sauce isn’t your thing!

This restaurant ONLY serves the above so if it isn’t for you, this is one to miss. For those of you that are still with me, this restaurant is a real delight. There is no picking and choosing, you don’t even get a menu ( You can spend more time chatting with whoever is joining you for this meal). The only decision you really have to make, is how you want your steak cooked and what you would like to drink. Oh and IF you have room for dessert, that’s where the choice comes in ( I’ll explain more about this later.

Please note that you cannot book a table at this restaurant, no matter who you are! Its first come first serve and they won’t seat you unless your full party is present, so be prepared for a potential queue! ( It’s worth the wait trust me)

First up, salad. “Is that all” I hear you cry. This is no ordinary salad, its a crunchy green salad with a sharp mustard vinaigrette topped with chopped walnuts. Don’t underestimate the flavours they really are special.

As soon as you finish the salad, they waitresses with take your plates away and replace them with new ones ready for the main meal, steak and fries. They will bring you a portion of steak ( cooked to your preference) and a pile of hot fries. This is then topped with the famous sauce. i can’t tell you what’s in it, because I don’t know LOL. What I do know is that it is Tasty AF.

Not feeling full enough? That’s fine, loosen your belt belt because the second round will be with you before you know it. the waitresses will come round to give you a second portion of steak, more fries and more sauce.

IF you have room left, the desserts are delicious. The menu is extensive and the portions are decent. I had the sticky toffee pudding which came out nice and hot with ice cream on the side. Toffee heaven.

With so many videos flying around on the socials of this restaurant, it’s hard to tell if it’s worth visiting, or if it’s just “insta worthy”. If you are still wondering after reading this far, go forth and visit, you won’t be disappointed.

They have one restaurant in city of London which is where I visited, the other is Marylebone. Otherwise you can be adventurous and visit the Paris, Monaco, New York or Mexico City locations ( I just might! 🙂 )
